Recommendation 4: La Barra

Another modern Spanish tapas bar, with a beautiful decor, warm and inviting. Located in a lively area of the town centre, surrounded by other tapas bars, it follows the successful formula of offering excellent and innovative tapas, professional and attentive service, and good wine by the glass. With most menu items below 4€, La Barra is an inexpensive way to have a tasty meal (15-20€ average).
You can sit at the bar or choose between a table in the terrace or indoors. It always gets packed so be ready to wait if showing up at Spanish hours.
Nevertheless, remember the most important advice when going out for tapas: do not stick to one place. Hopping from one place to the other is the way to do it.

Recommendation 1: El Farolito

Best Argentinian restaurant in town, great value for money and a 10/10 in staff friendliness and food quality (being an Argentinian it's mainly meat, so not very suitable for vegetarians). Only opens at nights (Sundays closed). Average price per person: 14 euros. Well known in town, great atmosphere and cozy decoration. It's popularity and small dimensions make it a very lively place. Opens at 9 pm. Don't show up any later than that or you'll find it difficult to find a seat!
Location: C/ Beatas 14, Malaga

Items on the menu that you shouldn't miss:
Entraña
Vacío
Provoleta
Pollo a la parrilla

Views of Malaga

So here are some shots of the city where I live. There are lots of restaurants everywhere as people in Malaga really like it eating out and share a good glass of wine with friends

My work and hobbies

So I should now talk about my job and leisure activities...Funny, as my work is also my hobbie. I love teaching! But I also like eating out, so much that I have just thought of devoting this blog to recommending restaurants in Malaga to English speaking visitors. Crazy?

Málaga

Ok, so this is where I live: Malaga, in the south of Spain. I really like it here because I enjoy the weather, the sea, the nightlife and above all, my friends.

Hello, my name is Lola and this is my second blog at blogger. I created a first one some four years ago, and in my first post I promised to keep it up to date, which I never did... This time I won't promise such a thing and maybe (who knows?) things will turn out differently.
